Heatherglen Project Master Bath

Bathroom remodel by Southlake Interior designer, Lambert Home

This project, y’all!!!!! Knowing that this family is from Florida and adores the beachy aesthetic, I started this whole design with the beautiful white quartz and marble mosaic tile pictured above. This family had also endured several years of extremely severe foundation shifting causing crazy drywall cracks in every room and serious flooring issues. (In the 2nd before photo you can see concrete flooring peeking through. Yikes!) With all of these foundation issues in mind, I had to be design very specifically in order for all internal plumbing pipes to be in their existing locations without drilling into the foundation.

To get started, we tore stuff up! We (and by “We” I certainly mean our incredible subs) removed the corner tub and splash, demo’d the entire shower corner including walls, shower seat, shower pan, shower walls, and all plumbing fixtures. We also removed the big bank of cabinets and all countertops and plumbing fixtures on the vanities!

Next we built up the psuedo-sub-floor beneath the new freestanding tub to allow space for plumbing without agitating the foundation. From there things started moving so quickly! Installed new custom cabinets, built new custom shower, installed quartz countertops with half pipe sinks and beautiful new fixtures!

Check out the crazy Before & Afters of this bathroom!
