"How long will the project take?!" One of the most important concerns our clients have is of course timeline and we LOVE sharing our project calendar with our clients and describing in detail who they can expect and on what days!! We expect for Bathroom remodels to take 6 weeks. Kitchen remodels with no floor to take 6 weeks. Kitchen remodels with wood floor to take 8 weeks!! And the last thing I tell all my clients is "TRUST ME when I tell you that this timeline is JUST as important to me as it is to you!!!" It's imperative I close up jobs in a timely manner so I can move on to the next job! We have heard horror stories over the year about projects dragging on 3, 6, 9 months after projected completion dates!! lol it's a no for us!

The first weekend I did respite care for two children I…wait for it…forgot to pray the whole time! At the end of the weekend I was so covered up with fear that I cried! Then I realized…wait a minute, girl! How foolish of me to go into a new+hard weekend without having prioritized the power of prayer…or the fruits of the spirit…or even the armor of God! It was a great lesson to me that while I can keep two children alive and happy for two days in my own power I shouldn’t! I got so busy doing the whole thing that I didn’t get to enjoy it, or rest in the beautiful moments, or bring peace to my home, or see the joy in limitless goldfish crackers! It was my first invaluable parenting lesson! Any other invaluable lessons I need to learn now?! -Sarah
