Our Proven Process

We have designed our process to ensure we are good stewards of your home, your budget, and - most importantly - your trust. We’re here to create your authentic space so you can finally feel at home, while also making the process as easy and stress-free as possible. Here’s how we do it.

Note: Every single step may not be necessary for each project.

1. Initial Consultation

timeline: typically scheduled 2-4 weeks out

We will meet you in your space to discuss your ideas, goals, budget, and timeline. During this time we’ll be getting a feel for your personal aesthetic and character to use in your design.

2. Read & Sign Contract

timeline: typically sent 1-2 days after consultation

The contract goes over what we’ll be working on, budget, pricing, procedures, etc. The contract fee is a one-time fee that covers all administrative work for the life of our relationship (which we hope will last forever!).

3. Pics & Measure

timeline: typically 1 week after contract is signed

We will drop by your space to take photos and record measurements. You’re going to love having these photos once we’re done.

4. Initial Design Meeting

timeline: typically 2 weeks after pics & measure

With this presentation, you’ll get to see our initial thoughts about your space! This may include a Pinterest-like presentation to gauge your likes and dislikes. This is a great opportunity for you to share more ideas with us!

5. Specific Design Meeting

timeline: typically 2-3 weeks after initial design meeting

On this day we’ll confirm all final selections, layouts, and other decisions for your space.

6. Sub Meeting

Timeline: typically 2 weeks after specific design meeting

We’ll meet at your house with all of the appropriate subs to gather exact down-to-the-penny pricing for your job.

7. Final Design Meeting

Timeline: typically 3-4 weeks after sub meeting

In this meeting we’ll review our final design selections as well as pricing, a detailed construction calendar, and the construction contract. We will set a start date, execute the first payment, and confirm scheduling with all subcontractors.

Timeline: varies depending on project

Whether we’re installing furniture and accessories or remodeling your master bath, we’ll execute your design per the confirmed vision, price, and timeline.

9. Final Photos

Timeline: varies greatly

Once all is said and done and you’re thoroughly enjoying your new space, we’ll schedule a final trip to take photos of your completed design!
