OUR PROVEN PROCESS

We have designed our process to ensure we are good stewards of your home, your budget, and - most importantly - your trust. We’re here to create your authentic space so you can finally feel at home, while also making the process as easy and stress-free as possible. Here’s how we do it!

We will meet you in your space to discuss your ideas, goals, budget, and timeline. During this time we’ll be getting a feel for your personal aesthetic and character to use in your design.
The contract goes over what we’ll be working on, budget, pricing, procedures, etc. The contract fee is a one-time fee that covers all administrative work for the life of our relationship (which we hope will last forever!).
We will drop by your space to take photos and record measurements. You’re going to love having these photos once we’re done.
With this document, you’ll get to see our initial thoughts about your space! This may include a Pinterest-like collection to gauge your likes and dislikes. This is a great opportunity for you to share more ideas with us!
On this day we’ll get down to the nitty gritty! We’re talking specific fabrics, floor plans, grout colors, install patterns, etc.
We’ll meet at your house with all of the appropriate subs to gather exact down-to-the-penny pricing for your job.
In this meeting we’ll review our final design selections as well as pricing, a detailed construction calendar, and the construction contract. We will set a start date, execute the first payment, and confirm scheduling with all subcontractors.
Whether we’re installing furniture and accessories or remodeling your master bath, we’ll execute your design per the confirmed vision, price, and timeline.

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer flat-fee service tiers for our design packages to help keep things easy! Tier 3 (Remodel) — think a total gut job; Tier 2 (Refinish) — our middle tier is between a construction zone and some easy updates; Tier 1 (Refresh) — surface tweaks, like paint and new light fixtures. We’ll help point you to the right tier once we’ve discussed your project!
Oh girl, let me count the ways! When your designer, contractor, and subcontractors are all on the same team, you can expect consistent communication, scheduling, and a seamless process from one phase to the next. Just imagine, if the quarterback and the wide receiver were on different teams, that never goes well!
Absolutely! That’s where we come in! If you know what you like, great! If you have no clue, we’re going to help you get there. This interior design certification — licensed by the Texas Board of Architecture — means that your designer understands both design and technical building codes. When it comes to ensuring your home remodel is healthy and safe, this certification matters.
Great question! Once we meet for your initial consultation we can get started right away! The design process can take up to 12 weeks so it’s best to get started as soon as we can!
Trust us — that’s not a business model that will serve your interests. Bids up front = surprise fees on the back end. With Lambert Home, we take the time to thoroughly assess your needs. But once we’re done, your budget is final.
